1st Family Christmas Show In December of 1998, Bridges hosted their first-ever Family Christmas show. It was appropriately named as everyone in their families was involved in some way. Margaret's husband, Lawrence, provided piano accompaniment as well as performing a beautiful solo. Barbie sang a duet with her husband, Pierre. Collette's husband, Peter, worked the lighting and videotaped the event, along with Anna's husband, Mike. It wouldn't be a family show without the kids involved, so Margaret's son agreed to emcee the show, while Barbie's two boys and Anna's son and daughter all performed a song together. Barbie's Mom, Joan, provided accompaniment and sound effects on keyboards, while her father, John ran the sound equipment. A special guest performance by the Peace Arch Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, was a wonderful addition to the show. Even Santa Claus made an appearance with treats for the kiddies! Bridges plans to repeat the event this year with their 2001 Family Christmas show!
